Your Opportunity
We're on the hunt for a dynamic Junior Sous Chef to join our inaugural team at Donna Chang. As second-in-command, you'll drive kitchen operations, ensuring every dish delights with its quality and creativity. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you'll lead by example in a supportive, innovative environment that values your culinary passion and leadership.
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Optimising kitchen setup for efficient food production
Crafting weekly rosters to ensure optimal staffing
Preparing ingredients and overseeing timely food preparation
Collaborating with wait staff on daily specials and plate presentation
Maintaining kitchen standards and health regulations
Key to Your Success
You'll bring at least 2 years of Sous Chef experience in high-quality venues, demonstrating:
Expertise in diverse cooking methods and kitchen management
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Commitment to culinary excellence and safety standards
